Join Herby Curby in our commitment to sustainable plastic recycling!

At Herby Curby, we are dedicated to reducing plastic waste and maximizing the lifespan of our products. That’s why we’re excited to announce our affiliation with the Precious Plastic community, a global movement focused on innovative plastic recycling solutions.

Our Mission:

At Herby Curby, we understand the importance of responsible waste management. While we’re not the manufacturers of the plastic products we sell, we believe in taking ownership of their environmental impact. That’s why we’re launching a recycling program to collect and recycle old carts. We are restricting the program to Toter carts, which are already made from 60% post consumer plastic.

What We’re Doing:

Our goal is simple: to recover as much plastic as possible from our products and repurpose it into new, usable items. Whether it’s transforming old carts into recycled plastic lumber, or supplying raw materials to local manufacturers and hobbyists, we’re committed to giving plastic a second life.

Our Affiliation with Precious Plastic:

Precious Plastic LogoWe’ve established an affiliation with Precious Plastic, an organization that provides valuable resources and support for plastic recycling initiatives. Through this arrangement we gain access to recycling technologies, educational materials, and a vibrant community of eco-conscious individuals.

How You Can Help:

As a valued customer, you play a crucial role in our recycling efforts. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Recycle with Herby Curby: Return your old Herby Curby (Toter) carts to us for proper recycling. Only Herby Curby products are accepted for recycling. We do not pay for old carts, but we will pick them up for free as long as they are empty.
  • Spread the Word: Help us raise awareness about plastic recycling by sharing our initiative with friends, family, and community members.
  • Support Sustainable Products: Choose products made from recycled materials whenever possible to support the circular economy.

Together, we can make a difference in the fight against plastic pollution.
